What time does your kitchen close??
We love this place. The food is always amazingly good and their drinks are top notch. Fun easy going atmosphere.
MoreThe food is awesome and the service is better. Barbie rocks. The big pretzel is a must have with the beer cheese and the other dip. I had the German version of gyros (doner kabob)which was great with the bacon slaw. My daughter had a garlic pepper brat and the Brussels sprouts - the place does not look like much but worthy of a visit
MoreGreat selection of beer. I went at lunchtime and tried a sausage combo. The food is better than you would expect in a small and rustic setting.
MoreI simply like their dishes. I always get excellent customer service there. The place is well kept and the staff members are always very nice. Will come back again.
MoreVery well kept and convenient place. They offer big meals and for fair rates. We enjoyed the meals very much and the waiters were very welcoming and informative. Highly recommended.
MoreWhat a charming German bar! Love the small setting with the long tables and bar to give you that community feel. There's also plenty of outdoor seating. Not sure if it's always the case, but order at the bar and take a seat. The pretzel was one of the best I have ever had - soft and full of flavor on the inside with a great crust on the outside. The sausage was clearly homemade and I'm looking forward to trying all of their different flavors.
MoreIt was somewhat crowded when we got there, which we thought was a good sign. Ordered a burger and waited over 45 minutes. Came out cold and well done even though I asked for medium and was missing cheese I had asked for. I've had better burgers at backyard cookouts and even fast food places. the burger is so tall that you can't eat it normally. Would not recommend spending $12 on a butter here, you're better off at Red Robin.
MoreCold beer good food
Very small neighborhood bar. Delightful simple food. Order a main, and sides. Done. Very basic. Lovely
MoreNate, Brian, Randy, and Ashley are awesome people. Hell, everyone there is good people. Definitely and experience to have with friend, good food, and local brewery beverages. People come far and near to visit and it just got a new facelift. See you there
MoreBrandy and Ashley did a great job showing us a good time. The food was totally above board and delicious! Will definitely be back.
MoreAwesome, Hip, good local beer and ridiculously good food. Cant wait to visit again.
MoreThis spot is worth a visit. They have big portions for affordable rates. Always well organized and with good vibes. Will visit here again.
MoreDelicious brunch! What a great deal for $10!? Substitutions were fine within the brunch 'platter' type of meal which was nice because a lot of times restaurants put up a fuss about that kind of thing. Bloody Mary's were $4, mimosas were $3.
MoreThe meals and service were above our expectations. I truly liked the ambience of this restaurant. Nice place to take my family out for lunch.
MoreThe atmosphere is the German beer hall feel. Lots of options and reasonable prices. Ordered the pierogis because I saw multiple suggestions to do so and they were very good. The service was very slow.
MoreLove love love this place. The fresh delicious food and cozy atmosphere is a must try if you have never been. They offer take out if you just want to stop by. But definitely try the food. Anything on the menu. It's all mmmmmm
MoreVery surprised about all the 5 star reviews! This place definitely does not serve authentic German food! I was born & raised in Germany and slightly offended by what they serve here. We ordered the Schnitzel sandwich, Döner Kebab & Curry Wurst and none of it was great.
MoreExcellent lunch in a neighborhood bar. German sausages, sides and more. Large menu with great food. No table service but no problem!
MoreStopped in for a bite on our way to Canada. Food was great, service was friendly, locals we're nice. Deeply appreciated that there was more than fried food. I recommend trying the roasted cauliflower, absolutely awesome.
MoreWonderful atmosphere and very attentive service. The meals were crisp and enchanting. Will clearly recommend this place to friends. Convenient rates and big portions. Keep up the great work.
MoreWow! What an amazing bar that served excellent food and had an awesome atmosphere and great employees. We we're here for a weekend getaway but would definitely recommend it!
MoreHad a beautiful night out it was my 1st. Time but definitely not the last outstanding meal did the 4 sausage 1 side with the 4 sides the broccoli and the cauliflower along with the cabbage and sauerkraut and asparagus made 4 a delightful experience job well done
MoreGreat place for a couple beers and some seriously good food. No, not fancy food... good tasty food! It's very small. Communal seating only (inside). Long tables and benches. The combination of size and seating makes the place friendly and comfortable for new as well as regular patrons. They have a ever changing menu, house made sausages, schnitzel, and of course, burgers! Don't miss out on the house made giant pretzels either!
MoreAwesome food!!! Bartender was very friendly and sweet. First time here definitely will be back!!!
MoreWalked in to eat late evening and after standing at the bar for more than five minutes and making eye contact with two bartenders they never spoke to us or asked if we could be helped. So we left and went around the corner to get some great food at the City Goat. Some really good appetizers and good food.
MoreThe pork schnitzel sandwich was great.
Nice corner Bar and Grill. Good service and good food. Stop by when your in town.I ordered the Bacon, Cheddar Burger. Very good.
MoreThis bar was awesome to find. The service is exelent and they have a great variety of beers. The food was really good as well. 5 stars all around, definitely one of my favorite places.
MoreMy son's and I stopped in for dinner after Kings Island and we had Doner Kebab, 3 sausage platter, hamburger and giant pretzel which was all awesome. The staff is friendly as well and we will definitely be back.
MoreDelicious food. Service was really slow though.
Fantastic spot to grab something when in a rush. Their service is fast, rates are convenient, fantastic character. I highly recommend this spot.
MoreThis is a great little place! We stopped in for a late lunch and were pleased to find a very friendly bartender/waitress. She was quick to explain the menu to us and make suggestions. The curry sausage, hot Italian sausage, brussel sprouts and pretzel with beer cheese were all delicious!! We will definitely be going back to try more.
MoreGreat craft beers, amazing sausage and the brunch menu is a real gem if limited. Communal dining and decent vibe. Live music on the weekends.
MoreGood Burgers and good sausages. Full bar. Nice atmosphere just be prepared to take your time. Small staff, the bartender /waitress had to tend and wait on about 20 something people all by her self. She was awesome. Kids enjoyed the food too. Will definitely eat there again.
MoreGreat Beer and great food what more could you want? Service? Style? Yep has them all. Great lil pub, with pub style atmosphere. Pics speak a 1000 words.
MoreThis place deserves 5 stars, but I just can't in good faith. If you like pretzel and cheese, go here. Stop reading and go here. It's $5 for pretzel, $4 for Bier cheese. Stop reading and go there now. 4 stars because of the "service". We ordered 2 meals and only got one. Then asked for cheese as a side to the pretzel but it took 15 minutes and I had to go back up to the bar to ask for it. It was sitting in the kitchen waiting to be delivered, and when it was brought to us it has that weird plastic-like top to cheese when it sits for awhile after being heated up...you know what I'm talking about. Now, the bar itself has a great vibe. There was live music, two older gents that played some originals and some covers. Overall, a good experience and worth the visit. I will be back to get a burger as the Mett and Bratwurst were good not great. Must visit in warmer times as the patio is bigger than the inside.
MoreI've been to Wonderbar a few times. I usually really like what I get. I remember just one time that I didn't like something, but I don't remember what it was. I usually try a new sausage. Had a curry sausage this time. It was delicious!
MoreBurgers were great but the done kebab was best.
Best cauliflower I’ve ever had. It’s small and quaint atmosphere is just what we needed. The food delivers a massive punch because you aren’t expecting that from the looks of the place! So impressed; will be back.
MoreOh the pretzel! It is bigger than your head and the cheese dips are fantastic. The beer cheese is the best ever. Service is super friendly and fun. There sandwiches are fantastic and the sausages are wonderful. The side dishes are also amazing for me the cauliflower is better than cauliflower should be. The only bad thing for me is the burgers. I think they just use to high of a quality meat so they are too dry for me. This is a place I recommend to everyone I talk to about places to eat. The prices are good as well.
MoreWas in from out of town visiting with family. Dad showed me this great little spot. Originally went in for a little brunch - the brunch nachos were delicious - and ended up coming back for some late night drinking and snacking. This is a great little venue, with both karaoke and open mic. Nice little back area with plenty of seating and a cozy little firepit. Large beer selection, domestic, foreign, and especially craft. The food was fantastic. Had their Reuben and some zucchini - absolutely fantastic. Barbie and Brandi were super kind, present, and helpful. Thanks for the great visit! Will definitely be stopping by the next time I'm in town.
MoreHas a good small town bar vibe. Food is delicious, quality german sausages and burgers. Great beer selection for a craft lover. And the service was great to match, bar was full but always took care of me so quickly
MoreYay, so happy they're back! A whole new look, too!
Great food and beer. Tuesday is open mic.
Why have I not been here before? Food looked amazing. Order at bar. Went for music which was great. Outdoor patio area also nice addition. Will definitely be back for the healthy food options available. Beets anyone?
MoreExcellent sausages. Goettawurst, hot bleu, and Italian with a side of bacon slaw.
MoreOne of my main places to grab something to eat. very good location, clean, and fantastic service. Very good job!
MoreThis restaurant is no doubt one of the most pleasant place to eat in the neighborhood. Whenever I visit this place I am incredibly happy. They maintain their very high level service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Highly recommended.
MoreLoved this place. We just happened upon it on our way out of Cincinnati. I got the plate of sides with asparagus (beautifully char broiled), braised purple cabbage, beet salad, and Gouda mac-n-cheese. So good! I also got the curry sausage. Delicious. My husband got the breakfast plate special with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and the best biscuits and gravy we've ever had. Only $10. Everything was cooked perfectly. And it was very affordable. There were people here, but I waited until there was a brief moment everyone left and only a few were at the bar. I tried not to get people in the pic, because... well people may not appreciate seeing their pic all over the web. It's small and cozy and felt like a real German beer house. So cool. Apparently, they also have live music here and karaoke weekly. We came on Super Bowl Sunday afternoon hours before the game.
